Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty...these are all stories that we grew up with and loved. So why not combine the things we love from our past with something we love in the present? That is exactly what is happening in the Twisted Twilight Tales One Shot Contest.

This is an any pairing, anonymous O/S contest where the heart of the story has to be based on a fairy tale.You can make it as modern as you want to or stick as closely to the original story as you please. In your mind is Bella a maid that finds an invitation to her bosses party in a retelling of Cinderella or is Alice an innocent in girl running from her past in your version of Snow White well whatever your spin past, present, or future, dark and twisted or Lemony and Fluffy it's all allowed here.

Rules:

  • Must be based on a story in story list provided
  • Must be between 2,000 and 15,000 words not including and A/N or the contest heading
  • Must be a O/S, please no previously posted stories or outtakes...
  • This is an annynomus contest so please don't cheat by telling people that it's your story...we will eventually find out and then you will be disqualified. Plus cheating isn't cool!
  • Collaborations are allowed, but please remember to include all members pen-names in the entry e-mail.
  • No Slash, it doesn't have to be canon though. 
  • Please also no Pedophilia, bestiality, or anything creepy like that please...
  • Any Rating is allowed. Lemons are not required, but are always appreciated!
  • Please get your stories Beta'd...if you don't have someone available to beta for you I suggest sending the story to Project Team Beta: http://www.projectteambeta.com/
  • Finally the limit is two entries per individual or collaboration (any combination of : 1 collab and 1 individual, 2 individual, 2 collabs.)

Now for the prizes. We will be giving out banners made by the amazing FrozenSoldier for the top three stories as well as banners for our judges choice stories. If you want a sample of her work just check out our contest banner, that's her handy work right there.

*contest update 1/3/11* I hope you are all having a happy new year and are writing away! I just thought that I'd pop in and give an announcement. I know that some of you are having a problem with finding beta's. If PTB is still on break and you're worried you won't get the story back in time please send us an e-mail with the heading BETA HELP and we can set you up with someone.
